What we Dread

I'm sorry I'm uploading so many sad pictures. But it is a war after all. I've been trying to keep it cheery but alas I can only do so much.

This is Cierra's 2/2 Raid Assignment. She was there when Valon's carcass was thrown at the Assassins by the Hunters. Being a messenger, Cierra had the heavy burden of bringing the news to Avita at the Healers Encampment. Let's just say, that Cierra didn't know what she was signing up for.

For those of you who know Cierra and Valon's past, the two of them never really got along. Or at least, they got off to a rocky start and never quite made up for it. Whether Cierra liked Valon or not, she isn't heartless, and she has always respected Avita. 
This is one of those moments when you would almost look back, and wonder if you could have done something different.

This pic is a double whammy too for Cierra's heartbreak when she returns to Air Empire and finds that cubs and Apprentices that she looked out for were captured or possibly killed. I don't think there is a way for me to capture that kind of anguish yet, so I will leave that one as it is for now.
