Healing Begins

I'm on a Hazel streak, a few things need to happen before her birthday.

"Hold Still Hazel, you'll need to keep this in for the rest of the night."
She didn't quite catch what Santino had said, but she had seen the healer mutter the words 'rest of the night.' She sighed. His paws carefully applying the mixture. It was cold, and itched horribly as it seeped deeper into her earlobes. She had asked for this though.
"Please, Santino." She whispered. "Don't tell anyone."
The serval paused for a moment, before grabbing the second wrap. "Alright, I wont, but there is nothing to be ashamed of Hazel."
Adjusting herself, she prepared for the long night. No one should be looking for her, not tonight at least. This wasn't the first visit to the healer, and probably wouldn't be the last. She had to hope though, hope that there was a chance...just maybe.
She knew there was a time when she could hear, but she couldn't remember what had happened. Maybe if she could hear again, the sound would bring the melody of her past with it.
"I'm I ready to face that past though?" She asked herself. Maybe not yet, but it wasn't like she was running from her past, it had run away from her, and she was chasing it down now, with every moment alone, searching for what she couldn't remember.
That voice, I don't know why I can only hear one voice in my head, but I know I have to find it, and the only way to do that is to hear again. Or else I'll never recognize it."
